Wild iris grace the field in front of the buildings on a street in Bodie, the largest ghost town in California.

Scattered remnants of Bodie dot the barren hills.
Looking back toward Bodie from Aurora Canyon Road.
Capturing the beauty of flowers is a passion of mine. This rose and dalia were blooming at the Fort Bragg Botanical Gardens, and I captured their essence a few weeks ago.

The grassy pastures at Cabrillo Light Station where golden in the morning mist.

ANGELS

Our Heavenly Guide and Personal Protector

Seraphim (The Highest Order of Attending GOD Angel), Cherubim (Attending GOD Angel), Powers (Generating Energy Angel), Principalities (Guiding/Ruling Angel), Archangels (Messenger Angel),  Angels (Messenger & Attending Angel), and  Guardian Angel (One's Personal Angel).

Angels guide seekers for TRUTH:  2 Timothy 2:15 (King James Version)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

"Every child may gain knowledge as Jesus did.  As we try to become acquainted with our heavenly Father through HIS Word, angels will draw near, our mind will be strengthened, our characters will be elevated and refined.  We shall become more like our Saviour" (E.G.White, Desire of Ages, 70)  in action and thought.  What a glorious promise!

Angels deliver us from evil:  Psalm 91:11 (King James Version)

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

"The strong opposition we often meet in accomplishing GOD's work can sometimes overcome us.  Occasionally the daily struggles we face, not to mention the spiritual battles we fight, break down the defenses of our souls.  The barriers established by habitual prayer, devotion, and ministry sometimes begin to crumble and doubt begins to obscure the leading of GOD's Spirit.  We see our condition as helpless: but it is not helpless!"  "We can count on angels to bring us messages of hope and encouragement just when we need them most." (Tony Philip Oreso, Adventist World-NAD April 2009)
